R.I.P Tim McLean... Victim of the Greyhound Bus Massacre...

GREYHOUND BUS MASSACRE Portage La Prairie, Manitoba, Canada Wednesday July 30, 2008... On what appeared to be a regular bus ride, about 40 passengers boarded a bus traveling between Edmonton (AB) & Winnipeg (MAN). What they didn't know, is that this bus ride would end up being their worst nightmare... This is the kind of story that only happens in movies... At least, that's what we thought. But on that summer night... The horror movie became reality... 40-year-old Vince Weiguang Li of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, allegedly stabbed and decapitated a fellow passenger, 22-year-old Tim McLean, aboard a Greyhound bus on July 30, 2008. No motive has been identified in the attack, and fellow passengers described it as completely unprovoked. According to witnesses, the victim was quietly listening to his music with his headphones on and texting messages to his ex-girlfriend when the attack occured. The killer stabbed him multiple times in his neck, armed with a "rambo" knife. He acted with no rage, almost like if he was a robot... He then finished his job by chopping his head off... The suspect, Vince Weiguang Li, was arrested and still remain silent... He haven't said a word since the massacre. He keeps his head down, staring the floor. He won't even answer the judge when asked if he had a lawyer... He was charged with 2nd degree murder, as the authorities doesn't believe his actions were premedited. He will be back in court on Tuesday, August 5th. (DELAYED) Today, the question on everybody's lips is "WHY?"... Well, I do not believe we will ever get an answer on that... We will never know what pushes someone to do such a terrible thing. In my opinion, well... Nothing else then mental illness can make someone attack an individual in such a brutal way. But still, is that answer even enough?! How do you explain to family & friends that their so loved Tim was brutally attack on a quiet bus ride?! How do you tell his head was chopped off?! How do you say : "I'm sorry, your son was killed by a maniac."?! I'm affraid there aren't any proper way of saying it... An innocent young man got his life taken away by another human being... A mentally sick human being. I'm crossing my fingers that they will find an illness to put this crime on, 'cuz if they don't... It would be another proof that our world's gone mad... I can't expect any other outcome, as it's unbelievable to me that a "normal" person can commit such a crime...
